MY TEACHING

I love teaching and would be delighted to explore if there are ways that I can inspire you and help you develop as a photographer; whether in person or via ‘Zoom’ (which I have been using a lot for my recent teaching).

The Leica Akademie

I teach at the Leica Akademie.

I run an ‘Introduction to Documentary Photography’ workshop (via Zoom) that runs over 5 sessions over 5 weeks and includes participants creating their own photo-easy as part of the course. We’ve now run the workshop twice in the last 12 months; participants have been very generous with their feedback. You can see some of the work of the most recent group here. The next course will be in early of 2022; click here for more details and to find out what past participants thought.

In May 2021 I created and led a new, three part, (Zoom) Webinar ‘Learning from the Greats’; this was very successful and was re-run in September 2021. Click here to read the participant feedback from the May series. The webinar illustrates 12 techniques to taking stronger images by using examples from ‘the great photographers’ of the past; the work of some 50 photographers is featured.

I am currently preparing a new Webinar for launch in early 2022. Watch this space!

One-to-one tuition and mentoring

I can tailor and create something just for you, whether around ‘Documentary Photography’ or ‘Learning from the Greats’ or something completely different.

Just get in touch via the Contact page and we can go from there! I’d be delighted to explore this with you.
